"Virus" notification email

New to the site.  I just received an email with a link indicating virus activity had occurred on my account here.  I haven't been on the site for a while now, so I don't know how this could be.  Do you ever get virus attacks here on the forums?  Is there someone I can verify the information with?

i'm pretty sure it was a scam or someone fishing.  don't click on the links at all.  mine said that they detected a virus from my computer but my computer doesn't get viruses -- so i knew it was a scam right off.
